His care sector skills and experience as both a leader in care and as an award-winning businessman as CEO of Walfinch, support a network of franchised Walfinch home-based care offices across the UK. As a history and economics graduate determined to run his own business, Amrit first transformed an Italian deli in Surrey into an award-winning Italian restaurant, then created a successful tea shop, also recognised with a prestigious local business award. His passion for excellent customer care, commitment to family and proven business skills naturally led him to the homecare sector. Within four years of becoming a franchisee of a domiciliary care, he grew the business from a standing start into a £1 million turnover business, developed a valued core team of 70, and won the Franchisee of the Year award. As CEO of Walfinch, Amrit is committed to supporting all our franchisees to deliver a national homecare service that is of a high quality delivered by a team of caring, motivated and dedicated carers.
