Care Technology Providers Partner to Ensure Integrated Care
The integration will mean that medication data from MED e-care’s electronic medication management system (eMAR) is seamlessly shared with Person Centred Software’s digital care planning system, Mobile Care Monitoring. This will give care home staff the ability to view the entirety of residents’ care including medicines administrations in one place.
Medication from MED e-care’s eMAR solution will automatically appear as a care record within Person Centred Software’s Mobile Care Monitoring system providing integration of the care provided and the medications administered for each person available within Mobile Care Monitoring. The integration of the two platforms will ensure that vital information will be available to care home staff when needed and reduces potential errors.
The shared platform will also strengthen existing partnerships between care homes, GPs and pharmacies, facilitating better communication and transparency.
Chris Pearson, Head of Care Partnerships at MED e-care says “We are delighted to be working with Person Centred Software to achieve this exciting integration. We are looking forward to our joint customers being able to benefit immensely from this joined up care innovation.”
Andrew Coles, Head of Product Management at Person Centred Software says, “Care providers are seeing the benefits of reducing risks using digital systems. Many are now on a digital journey, whether they started with eMAR or digital care planning, and we are joining them together to magnify the benefits of both solutions. Our system is a central repository for data. Working with best of breed solutions, such as MED e-care, we enable care homes to use a full ecosystem of technology to improve outcomes and efficiently demonstrate quality of care to regulatory inspectors.”
