Lura Care - a CQC registered Dental Health Service to Care Homes and Day Centres

Lura Care, a company specialising in dental care services to residents in care homes and day centres is established in the United Kingdom with their dental hub based in Hampton Hill, London. Their objective is to overcome the mobility barrier for dependent individuals or those with mobility issues who, due to their condition, would not otherwise be able to access.

Lura Care has developed an innovative model of mobile dental care services that adapts to the specific needs of its patients, whereby its specialised and highly skilled teams carry out the treatments on-site to avoid inconvenient transfers to clinics wherever possible.

The company, who is registered with the Care Quality Commission, carries out free initial assessments on-site to evaluate the oral health condition of residents and their oral health needs, as well as training activities in care homes to help promote preventative oral health care. Once agreed with the family of each patient, the company plans the non-obligatory treatments are mostly carried out in the care home.

After reaching an agreement with individual Care Homes and Care Home Groups for the elderly and dependent persons, in just seven months Lura Care has provided its dental care services to more than 500 patients from around thirty centres located in Kent, Hampshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire and Greater London, and anticipates to triple this number by the end of 2024.
