CareLineLive Press release: GP Connect
This functionality allows authorised health and social care workers in England to access their patient’s GP records, such as problems and issues, allergies and adverse reactions, medications, and more.
CareLineLive’s Managing Director, Josh Hough says “After many years of home care provider frustration in liaising with GPs and other health care professionals, GP Connect has the potential to bring considerable positive impact on outcomes for people using services. The integration has required a considerable amount of work for our development team and we are delighted to get the green light from the NHS on this achievement.”
GP Connect integration is one of the criteria for the new standards for providers on the NHSx Digital Social Care Records assured supplier list. CareLineLive was first accredited as an assured supplier in 2023 and is one of the first software suppliers to meet the new requirements for 2024.
The DSCR Standards describe the technical specifications which represent best practice for digital social care record solutions. With local and national government backing as well as NHS accreditation, home care providers are increasingly specifying DSCR Assured Suppliers in their choice of software provider given the additional reassurance and robustness that a fully compliant system offers.
