
Andrew Jones

Nautilus International
Andrew is the Secretary of the Nautilus Welfare Fund and Director of Welfare and Care at Nautilus International, a trade union and professional organisation serving maritime professionals and retired and needy seafarers and their dependents. His background is in the healthcare, hospitality and charitable sectors, with specific experience in governance, project management, quality assurance, facilities management, housing and health and safety.
Andrew is active at Carmel college as Chair of the Audit Committee a member of the Remuneration committee and Special Education Needs and Disabilities link governor. Andrew has been an active member of the Maritime Charity Group and an active member of the council of the Merchant Navy Welfare Board as Accommodation lead.
Andrew is passionate about the NWF being at the forefront of AI and other technology that can make a difference to the residents at Mariners Park and to for those working at sea.
He holds a Masters in Business Administration, NEBOSH diploma and is a chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and member of the Institute of Health and Social Care and chartered Institute of Housing. Andrew is also a qualified coach and mentor.
