I've been drawing on support since 2008, and use technology to enhance my own independence, including environmental controls to give me more direct power over my surroundings. I've been qualified as a social worker for 5 years and I am also a convener at Social Care Future. In addition to my professional social care background, since 2020 I've worked with a major international technology company to improve accessibility in gaming, virtual reality, and other platforms, helping shape inclusive digital experiences. I'm passionate about technology and the doors it can open with creative thought to support both hobbies and daily life, and of the belief that technology enables us to connect, create, and control in ways which can significantly improve wellbeing
