Dr. Chris Papadopoulos is a Principal Lecturer in Public Health at the University of Bedfordshire. He led the CARESSES robots trial (2016–2021), which evaluated culturally competent AI in robotics for older adult care in the UK and Japan. His recent work includes co-investigating the role of social robots in health and social care, and analysing workforce views on AI. Dr. Papadopoulos also founded the London Autism Group Charity and actively contributes to health and inclusion discourse. His work significantly impacts both academia and public health policy.
