Emma is a practicing GP with a background in engineering prior to studying medicine. She moved into the digital space around six years ago and has been working to improve shared care records bringing forward the needs of clinicians and patients. Emma is a PRSB Assessor and Clinical Safety Officer. For a number of years Emma was clinical lead for CHIE, Care and Health Information Exchange in Hampshire and IOW, as well as Wessex Care Records (ShCR/LHCR) crossing over with Dorset Care Record, DCR. Emma was part of the NHS Digital Leadership Programme, completing the MSc about Empowering Health and Care Professionals in Shared Care Projects and is now looking into the realm of Artificial Intelligence within the Healthcare sector.
