A graduate of the Edinburgh College of Art in Interior Design with over two decades experience within the industry, Jen is a passionate and focused creative with entrepreneurial spirit and went on to found Bernard Interiors in 2008. Bernard Interiors is an award-winning interior architectural design studio specialising in commercial and residential projects throughout the UK and abroad. Providing turnkey solutions, consultancy, and procurement services for a variety of sectors with a niche specialism in healthcare. Having proudly partnered with the UK’s main Integrated Retirement Community Operators for >16 years, the team has an enviable reputation in the Later Living, Care Home and Dementia care space. Creating and fostering a can-do approach with the team, Jen strongly believes in facilitating an open culture where wellbeing, training and development are at the core. In 2019 Jen commenced a professional practice lecturing role at Northumbria University, coaching the next generation of Interior Designers and the firm continues to hold strong links with the University. As a practice Bernard Interiors holds a number of prestigious accreditations and memberships; BIID, SBID, and an affiliation to Arco, the main body representing the retirement community sector in the UK, demonstrating commitment to excellence and professionalism.
