Jenny Kartupelis has developed the concept of 'relational care' over some ten years of study in a range of care facilities, basing her work on some 150 in-depth interviews, and has published two books on the subject. The concept has been the subject of Open University research, with findings launched in 2023. The University team is now working on dissemination and implementation. Jenny's career also encompasses establishing and managing two award-winning public relations consultancies, and setting up a regional faiths council, for which she was made an MBE.
