Jim has managed people, projects and policy in leading LGBTQ+ organisations for over 30 years and given expert witness evidence on LGBTQ+ inequalities in care to the UK Government Women and Equalities Committee. He designed and delivered the original care sector LGBTQ+ inclusion quality standard ‘Pride in Care’ for clients Borough Care, Right at Home and Runwood Homes and as a founding director of Pride UK, he now leads for the team on LGBTQ+ inclusive policy development in care especially in regard to the new Singe-Assessment Framework of CQC..
