Jo Bonser Consultancy and Training
Jo Bonser’s mission is to help caregivers and care managers improve their dining experience and overcome eating difficulties for the people they support living with dementia.
With over 6 years lived experience of providing care for her Mum living at home with vascular dementia, Jo helped transform her Mum’s health and wellbeing, from being severely malnourished, dehydrated, and refusing food, to eating and drinking independently again, gaining weight and enjoying life for a further 4 years.
Having seen these results, Jo wanted to share her learnings with others facing similar challenges, so wrote her Dignified Dining Solutions Guide, a free resource, filled with strategies and best practice tips to help people living with dementia to eat better with dignity
As part of Jo’s specialist services to care homes, she conducts her 50 point dementia specific mealtime audit, delivers her interactive workshop, The Dementia Mealtime Challenge, provides advice on best practice and offers dignified product solutions to help overcome eating challenges.
