Professor Claire Goodman

Claire is a district nurse by background and a Fellow of the Queen’s Nursing Institute. She is a Deputy Director of the NIHR CLAHRC (Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care) East of England. In April 2016 she was appointed a National Institute of Health Research Senior Investigator. Her research focuses on the health and social care needs of the oldest old, including those affected by dementia and living in long term care. Claire leads the DACHA Study. She has published widely and is the co-editor of the Oxford Handbook of Primary Care and Community Nursing.
