Sabrina has been a Qualified Solicitor in private legal practice for over 15 years. Prior to joining Howden and the insurance industry in May 2024, she specialised in handling contentious claims from cradle to grave in the niche fields of Healthcare and Casualty, for a range of market leading global insurers, NHS Trusts, private healthcare organisations and SME’s/larger companies as well as individual GP’s and Consultants. As well as private practice, Sabrina has vast experience ‘in house’ as a Senior Claims Handler at the largest Medical Defence Organisation, the MDU, where she dealt with claims and indemnity to medical practitioners on a ‘discretionary’ indemnity basis. With a family background in Social Care, Sabrina advises Insurer clients and policyholders on risk and the defensibility of claims in terms of liability and quantum, together with offering safety and learning advice as a value add to the client.
