Valentina has dedicated a decade to social care research, driven by a passion for providing evidence for both practice and theory. Her research delves into governance and organisation in adult social care, addressing key issues such as innovation promotion, service commissioning, quality improvement, and digital transformation. Currently, she co-leads a project evaluating support for unpaid carers funded through the Better Care Fund, is involved in the National Evaluation of the Adult Social Care Technology Fund and the Longitude Prize on Dementia.
